About

My story

My name is Immy, and I am a 22 year old self-taught jeweller based on the east coast of Australia !! For as long as I can remember, jewellery has held great personal significance in my life. It was never simply about adornment or materialism, it was about meaning. Each piece I received carried with it a memory, place, or a special connection between myself & the person who gifted it. What were once objects became keepsakes, each a witness to love, loss, change & everything in between.

This ever growing relationship with jewellery is what inspired the creation of Ren. Alongside this, I have always felt deeply connected to nature, in particular creeks, where the gentle ebbs and flows, and organic shapes continue to inspire me. These natural patterns heavily influence the fluid, organic style of my jewellery, echoing the perfectly imperfect beauty found in the natural world. At its core, Ren J is a reflection of my belief that jewellery can go deeper than its physical form. It can speak, evoke, and connect. Through the fusion of contemporary art and metal, each piece is thoughtfully hand crafted to embody both individuality and shared experience.

Ren J’s purpose is to organically forge connection, between wearer and maker, between memory and material, and between art and adornment. It is my intention that each piece not only complements the wearer but becomes part of their story. Something to be treasured, gifted, and passed on.

Take your pieces off before showering, swimming, exercising or applying lotions & perfumes.

Clean gently

Use a jewellery cloth to gently clean surfaces. We recommend the “town talk” polishing cloth for a wonderful shine.

Correctly store your jewellery

Keep your pieces in a soft pouch or jewellery box to prevent any friction resulting in scratches.
